Francis and Nafisa first met in the 11th grade, when they attended the same prom —with different dates. Fast forward five years—fresh out of lockdown and new to New York—Francis invited Nafisa to his birthday party at the ~vibey~ (if you know, you know) Dos Caminos. Sparks were flying and just a few weeks later they went on their first date at Craft and the rest was history….During a very special anniversary trip to Paris, Nafisa had her suspicions that a proposal might be on the horizon, but Francis convinced her that the perfect ring wasn’t ready yet. On their first day in Paris, a taxi mysteriously dropped them off at a tiny dock off of the Seine. Her suspicions were confirmed when the photographer boarded the boat and immediately told them to "pose". Under the sparkling Eiffel Tower, Francis dropped to one knee. Nafisa was so overcome with joy she never technically said yes—so maybe book refundable tickets, just in case.On the flight home, they began planning their wedding immediately. Our Story 

Our Wedding

Francis and Nafisa first met in the 11th grade, when they attended the same prom with different dates. Fast forward five years—fresh out of lockdown and new to New York—Francis invited Nafisa to his birthday party at the ~vibey~ (if you know, you know) Dos Caminos. Sparks were flying and just a few weeks later they went on their first date at Craft where Nafisa either fell in love with the mashed potatoes or his suit and tie. Either way, the rest was history…. The next months contained gala nights, countless dates, and trips near and far, where they bonded over their love of food and travel (and martinis). Eventually, they moved in together at 888 8th Avenue—the day Francis officially lost all closet space. Then came a very special anniversary trip to Paris. Nafisa had her suspicions that a proposal might be on the horizon, but Francis&nbsp;convinced her that the perfect ring wasn’t ready yet. On their first day in Paris, a taxi mysteriously dropped them off at a tiny dock off of the Seine, when her heart started racing. Her suspicions were confirmed when a little French man with a camera asked her to “pose” shortly after boarding the boat. Under the sparkling Eiffel Tower, Francis dropped to one knee (successfully not falling into the water). Nafisa was so overcome with joy she never technically said yes—so maybe book refundable tickets, just in case. On the flight home, they began planning their wedding immediately, champagne in toe. They knew after the previous summer spent in Greece that they had the perfect spot. And now, they’re beyond excited to celebrate with their closest friends and family—you.
